The New Development Bank (NDB) participated in the 18th BRICS Summit, hosted by India from 12 to 13 September 2026 in New Delhi. The Summit was held under the theme: “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability”.

The 18th BRICS Summit served as an important platform for strengthening dialogue and cooperation between the New Development Bank and BRICS member countries, as well as other emerging markets and developing countries.

Launch of the BRICS-NDB Knowledge Portal (BNKP)

In a significant step toward enhancing knowledge sharing and capacity building among  the members of the New Development Bank, BRICS countries and the broader Global South, NDB announced the launch of the BRICS-NDB Knowledge Portal.

The BRICS-NDB Knowledge Portal is a joint initiative of BRICS and NDB, designed as a modern digital platform to facilitate the exchange of knowledge. The Portal aims to institutionalise the existing knowledge available across BRICS Working Groups by systematically compiling them in alignment with NDB priority areas and sharing good practices from NDB’s operations.
