More About This Project
Pursuant to a long-term concession awarded in 1998, Elektro Redes S.A. provides power distribution services in 228 municipalities in the State of São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul, covering an area of over 121 thousand km2 and a population of around 6 million.
The Project is structured as a combined Sustainability Linked Loan, with corporate sustainability targets, and use-of-proceeds loan. The proceeds of loan will be applied towards expansion of distribution network, upgrade of distribution lines, automation and telecom for distribution network, upgrade of substations and purchase of electric vehicles for efficient maintenance of electricity distribution infrastructure.
The Project focuses on increase in resilience and efficiency of the distribution network.
