The project is structured as climate resilience project and proceeds of the loan will be applied towards distribution infrastructure for improving climate resilience of the electricity grid.

The implementation of the Project will help the Borrower to ensure safety of distribution infrastructure and availability of electricity supply to residents and critical institutions (such as hospitals and communication entities) even under adverse weather conditions.

The Project focuses on increase in resilience and efficiency of the distribution network.
