On 1 June 2017, the President of the New Development Bank Mr. K.V.Kamath took part in the meeting of the President of Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin with members of International Advisory Board of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and CEOs of leading institutional investors. The meeting took place during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2017.
At the meeting, Mr. K.V.Kamath highlighted that the NDB is actively expanding its pipeline of projects from all member countries of the Bank, including Russia. Currently, the NDB is studying several potential projects in Russia, including the construction of a new exit road from the city of Ufa and judicial system support project. Furthermore, the Bank will continue to engage with JSC Russian Railways and other companies interested in cooperation with the NDB.
