On September 12, 2026, H.E. Mrs. Dilma Rousseff, President of the New Development Bank held talks with Ms. Zou Jiayi, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit in Delhi, India, reaffirming the two multilateral development banks’ shared commitment to infrastructure and sustainable development financing.
Both NDB and AIIB continue to prioritise deeper collaboration with peer multilateral development banks, from co-financing arrangements to shared approaches on climate finance tracking.
The meeting builds on NDB’s ongoing efforts to deepen partnerships that deliver greater knowledge sharing and development impact for its member countries.
