On 12 May 2026, Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of the New Development Bank (NDB) Mr. Qiangwu Zhou led an NDB HR Workshop in Moscow, reaffirming the Bank’s commitment to strengthening talent engagement, fostering institutional partnerships, and investing in people as a key driver of sustainable development.

Held on the sidelines of the NDB Annual Meeting 2026 in Russia, the workshop brought together representatives from government institutions, academia, international organizations, and the financial sector for discussions on talent and future work opportunities at NDB together with an insightful presentation from the NDB HR Department presented by the Director General, Human Resources, Ms Hebatallah AbouRabia. The workshop provided participants with insights into NDB’s mandate, operations, organizational culture, and career opportunities across the Bank’s Headquarters and regional offices.

The event featured keynote remarks by Mr. Qiangwu Zhou, alongside Mr. Pavel Snisorenko. Alternate Director at NDB Board of Directors and Mr. Andrey Bokarev, Director General at the NDB Eurasian Regional Centre.

In his remarks, Mr. Zhou highlighted the importance of human capital in advancing institutional resilience and long-term development impact. He noted that the workshop reflects NDB’s broader efforts to engage with professionals and emerging talent across member countries while strengthening collaboration with key stakeholders and academic institutions.

Participants engaged in interactive exchanges on professional development, and innovation, reflecting strong interest in NDB’s mission and its growing role within the global development landscape.

Mr. Snisorenko emphasized the significance of continued cooperation and dialogue ahead of the Annual Meeting in Russia, while Mr. Bokarev highlighted the important role of partnerships, knowledge-sharing, and regional engagement in supporting the Bank’s strategic priorities.
