For NDB member countries in a rapidly changing international monetary environment, the need for sustainable and resilient financing for development has never been greater. The Local Currency Financing (LCF) Seminar seeks to address this imperative by bringing together stakeholders to explore practical and innovative avenues for advancing local currency financing.

The objective of this high-level seminar on LCF, on the sidelines of the Annual Meeting, is to facilitate dialogue among policymakers, financial institutions, and corporates on LCF; to share the best practices and innovative approaches for developing LCF markets; and to explore collaborative frameworks to promote inclusive multilateral LCF model.
