Siyamthanda Dlova, a South African national, joined IEO as an evaluation specialist in November 2024. With over 10 years of professional experience, Siya has a diverse background that encompasses the infrastructure, finance and energy sectors. Prior to joining IEO he worked for Clean Energy Associates in Shanghai, serving in the CEO’s Office on the company’s strategic function; and before that he worked as Infrastructure Lead at Decarb Solutions, where he collaborated closely with the South African Ministry of Electricity to establish partnerships with Chinese companies, in the effort to address the ongoing energy crisis in South Africa. He possesses expertise in financial modeling, data analysis and project management, and is well-versed in economic and financial analysis, market research, and cross-cultural collaborations. Siya holds a master’s in business administration from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), a bachelor’s degree in economics and Econometrics, and a certification in Sustainable Finance.
