IEO hosted the first in-person meeting of the NDB High Level Evaluation Advisory Committee (HLEAC) at NDB headquarters in Shanghai on 7-8 May 2024. The committee was established in 2023 and has five members – all external to NDB and one from each BRICS country. The aim of the committee is to provide periodic strategic advice to the Director General of IEO on matters pertaining to evaluation strategy, priorities, methodology, work programme and related topics. Drawing upon their diverse expertise and geographic backgrounds, committee members contribute by exchanging knowledge and insights on global issues and trends.
