On March 23, 2026, the New Development Bank held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the NDB Gallery, a permanent modern exhibition space at the Bank’s Headquarters in Shanghai intended to document the Bank’s operational history. The Gallery also highlights the NDB’s contributions to the respective development agendas of its member countries and to the global development discourse.
During the ceremony, H.E. Mrs. Dilma Rousseff, President of the NDB; Dr. Duncan Pieterse, Chairperson of the Board of Directors and Director-General, National Treasury, South Africa; and Ms. Junhong Chang, Director General of the Department of International Economic and Financial Cooperation, Ministry of Finance, China, and Director for China, delivered their addresses.
The NDB Gallery is now open to visitors as part of the Bank’s Headquarters facilities in Shanghai.
