On the 11 November 2024, NDB’s Independent Evaluation Office (IEO) and the Ministry of Finance (MoF) of the United Arab Emirates came together to organise a high-level technical workshop at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City hotel.
In focus were the methodologies and practices implemented by IEO and NDB’s Internal Audit Department and the Ethics and Investigation Division under the title, “Learning from global experiences on approaches and practices for sustainable development projects: evaluation, internal audit, compliance and investigation”.
The overarching objective were to foster knowledge-sharing, experiences and best practices as well as South-South cooperation between NDB and the MoF and other stakeholders. Moreover, the workshop with its broad agenda, also aimed to serve as a platform to seek for future attainable partnerships between NDB and UAE.
